London Heathrow Airport:

It is the second busiest airport in the world. There are places to visit in heathrow.

Mainly places around the airport:

1. Ham House:

History;

Originally built in 1610, the Ham House is the work of enterprising courtier William Murray and his dogged daughter Elizabeth.

As a child, William was educated with the young Charles I. Friends remained as adults; William was given a lease on Ham House and his estate in 1626 as a gift from the King. William and later his daughter Elizabeth transformed Ham into the home we see today; A rare 17th century survival of luxury and grandeur.

Beginning in 1637-9, William began making a series of luxurious decorative changes to the home. These changes cemented his status as a man of style, a close friend of the king, and an important member of his court.

In an unfortunate turn of events for William, the English Civil War broke out under Charles I in 1642. William, a royalist and close friend of the king, had no choice but to help fight the Parliamentarians, leaving his wife Katherine and their families. A young family will hold the fort at Ham House.

The royalist cause lost the battle and Charles was captured. He would later be tried for treason and beheaded in 1649. Charles' son reached an agreement with the Scots and King of Scotland II. He was crowned as Charles. But his attempts to retake the British throne were unsuccessful and he fled to the continent.

In 1653 Cromwell was appointed 'lord protector' of the new Commonwealth, the next 5 years of his rule would be difficult for royal families like the Murrays.

By her cunning, William's eldest daughter Elizabeth was able to steer Ham through Cromwell's rule by establishing good relations with the Protector. All the while she sent secret Royalist messages to the prince in exile in France.

When Charles II was restored to power in 1660, Ham once again became a place for entertaining and extravagance. This time it was under the ownership of Elizabeth Murray, a lady with rich taste.

In 1672, aged 46, Elizabeth married for the second time, this time to the affluent Duke of Lauderdale. He was a key member of King Charles II's inner cabinet. Sharing a love of power and decadence, together they made a dynamic restoration court couple. The Duke and Duchess had both travelled widely and employed craftsmen from across the continent and amassed exotic furniture from all over the world. They transformed Ham House into one of the grandest Stuart houses in England.

Changing little after Elizabeth's death, Ham House was home to her descendants from her first marriage within the Tollemache family for nearly 300 years.

With only a few decorative alterations made during the 1740s and 1890s, Ham House passed to us in 1948. It's a rare survival of 17th-century luxury and taste.

The collections at Ham House are exquisitely varied, with art and treasures that demonstrate the historic affluence of the families who lived there. From miniatures to furniture, the creativity and craftsmanship of a bygone era fill the house..

Food and Rural Affairs.

Officially begun in 1759, the Kew site consists of 121 hectares (300 acres) of gardens and botanical glasshouses, although it can be traced from Tewkesbury to the exotic garden in Kew Park, founded by Lord Henry Capell. .

The Royal Botanic Garden of England, located in the London suburb of Kew. The area is 120 hectares, which is said to be the largest scale and equipment in the world. It was 8 hectares when it was established in 1759, but has been expanded to the present era of the Banks directing. During the British Empire, the first-ranked botanist served as director, amassing huge collections from all over the world as the centre of the world's botanical garden. Several large greenhouses, flower beds, classified botanical gardens, lawns, libraries, laboratories, etc. have. The specimens are the world's largest collections and research reports have also been published, and the "plant inventory" is the main literature in plant taxonomy. It was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2003 and is still in service.

4.Windsor Castle;

It is one of the official main residences of the British monarchy, along with Buckingham Palace and Holyrood Palace in Edinburgh. The castle is in the town of Windsor, in County Berkshire. From the lower part of the palace, the River Thames flows south towards the capital, London.

Queen Elizabeth spends many weekends of the year at Windsor Castle. She therefore uses the building for both public receptions and private purposes. The foundations of Windsor House date from the time of William.

Many of England's kings and queens had a direct impact on the construction and development of the palace, each serving in their own time as garrison, castle, residence, official palace, and sometimes prison. The history of the British monarchy and the court are inextricably linked. The history of the palace can be followed from the chronological reigns of the monarchs who owned it. When the country was at peace, large and magnificent rooms were added to the palace. During the war, the palace was strengthened. This example has always been like this until today.

The fire that broke out in the castle in 1992 damaged approximately 100 rooms. There are works of artists such as Rembrandt, Rubens, Canaletto and Gainsborough in the castle. This dollhouse was designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens in 1923 and presented to Queen Mary.

160 guests can be accommodated at the dining table in the St.George hall. The castle is the size of 268 tennis courts and 40 rooms are actively used.
